What can I expect?
Our gatherings are contemporary in nature, with a time of relational and practical teaching. Our worship team provides live worship on a regular basis, while in between, we use contemporary worship CD's and other multi media formats.
We share around the Lord's Table every week as we reflect upon and celebrate all the Jesus has done for us.
What about my kids?
We love the sound of children in our worship gatherings and believe this is an indicator of life in the church. Each Hub have spaces set aside for the kids to draw and complete activity sheets or simply play with the blocks and toys.
Following the service?
We have tea and brewed coffee and light refreshments immediately after our services which provides a great opportunity to meet people and get to hear their personal stories. At our Springfield Hub you can purchase coffe and cake or even lunch from the Springfield Tavern Bistro.
What's the Goodna Hub all about?
Our Goodna Hub is quite different to Bundamba & Springfield. It operates from our Gleaners Community House in the front yard. It is an organice community space based around the sharing of a meal and the mutual support of people's needs. A free meal is served around 6pm every Thursday evening. Faith discussions happen both formally and informally throughout the evening.
We will often break bread as part of the meal as an act of remberance of what Jesus has done for us. Its a simple action that has profound meaning and implications for us all. |
